I was one of the many people who used to think of the DS as a gimmicky and desperate attempt on Nintendo's part to outdo the PSP. I rabidly supported the PS, and was a big hater of the DS. But the release of Nintendogs, and then Advance Wars, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario Kart and Pokemon, the DS topped all my lists. Now, my PSP is gathering dust, and I rarely use it now. Great article.
