EA has made great strides in the last few years to improve their reputation, but with Army of Two: the 40th Day, they have returned to their previous trend of running a promising series into the ground. This title is far worse than it’s predecessor in almost every way. Everything that made the original game [...]

I try to avoid reading other reviews before I write my own for a given game since they tend to skew my final opinion. I didn’t do this for Dark Void and saw that professional review scores ranged from five to seven (out of ten). Expecting a completely mediocre action title, imaging my surprise when, [...]

God of War III is one of the better action adventures game to have come out in recent memory, and with incredible presentation style, graphics, and sound score, it can definitely be termed as a ‘Presentational Wonder.’ As a God of War game, though, and as a conclusion, this game will fail to satisfy all its players. Sure, it has a very polished gameplay system, better than ever before, but the very thing that drove it forward in the past games- the story, namely- has lost its touch. If you’re really, really crazy about what you happens after the cliff-hanger end at the end of God of War II, and if you’re a lover of Kratos and his deeds, this game is definitely worth a purchase, but be prepared to be disappointed if you expect an epic storyline similar to that of God of War II.

It may be easy to dismiss Darksiders as another God of War clone, but doing so would cause you to pass up on a game that is surprisingly unique and simply fun to play.
Uncharted 2, then, is this year's best game, hands down. There can be no question about it, no debates, and no discussions. When this generation of gaming is up, and we recount all the significant titles, Uncharted 2 will be one of them. But unlike the other titles on the list, it will be there not because it accomplishes anything significantly new as far as gameplay is concerned. Rather, it will be there because it represents, finally, the coming of age of gaming as a storytelling medium, and it represents the genesis of gameplay and storytelling coming together to form an intangible mesh...

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed proved to be one of the most contradictive games to come out back in 2007, collecting an insurmountable amount of hype but becoming the fail of the year for many.
