The first Call of Juarez was a decent shooter that looked to find a place in the still sparse western genre of video gaming. Bound in Blood clearly learned from the few faults of the original and is an excellent prequel that sets up the story of the original game nicely, though it makes a [...]

As Rockstar’s first foray into the old west open world genre, it wouldn’t be wholly unfair to call it a western Grand Theft Auto. In fact, had this been referred to as a spin off of the series, it would have been right at home. However, while I was quite disappointed with the last GTA, [...]

Borderlands was a great new spin on the FPS genre and The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC only improved the formula. Unfortunately, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot only performs a ‘me too’ by adding little more than a ‘horde mode’ to the original title. To make matters worse, it is advertised as being able to [...]

God of War III is one of the better action adventures game to have come out in recent memory, and with incredible presentation style, graphics, and sound score, it can definitely be termed as a ‘Presentational Wonder.’ As a God of War game, though, and as a conclusion, this game will fail to satisfy all its players. Sure, it has a very polished gameplay system, better than ever before, but the very thing that drove it forward in the past games- the story, namely- has lost its touch. If you’re really, really crazy about what you happens after the cliff-hanger end at the end of God of War II, and if you’re a lover of Kratos and his deeds, this game is definitely worth a purchase, but be prepared to be disappointed if you expect an epic storyline similar to that of God of War II.

The first Bad Company was successful at finally introducing a solid single player experience to the Battlefield series that has always been known for it’s online multiplayer.
